Forever in Stitches announces the release of a new block of the month program
staring July 7, 2008.
This new BOM to be called “Block
of Many Colors III, follows in the footsteps of our previously very successful Block of Many Colors I & II programs.
The Block of Many Colors III
uses a main focus fabric in the center of each block that helps pull together the other sixteen fabrics used in the blocks. The color palette for the Block of Many Color III coordinates the main focus fabric’s
salmon, gold, green, cranberry & deep purple.
This Block of the Month differs
from its predecessors as the blocks are designed to fit together without sashing which thus creates a secondary small star
block where the block’s corners meet.
The twelve blocks are 16” when finished.
Block #1 is available starting July 7. Don’t wait, as membership
is limited to 60 members based on fabric limitations.

13th month option:
An optional pieced border that extends the small stars into the edge of the quilt can be added for a 13th
month. This optional 13th month costs $15.00.
Details & Questions

Each block
is 16”, finished.

As shown,
top, the quilt is 48” x 64”.

With the
4" optional border, bottom, the finished quilt is 56” x 72”
-
Monthly
cost with in-month-incentive is $4.00 per month.

Number
of blocks and months is 12.

Border
option, shown bottom, is a 13th month and costs $15.00.

Program
starts July 7, 2008 and continues through June 2009 [or July 2009 for the optional border].

18 different
fabrics are used.
Rules
-
Each month’s block cost $5.00(+tax).
-
Blocks can be picked-up any day of the designated month, but can not be picked up earlier than 1st of the
month.

One BOM (12 blocks) per customer
-
At end of 12 months BOM will have provided twelve 16”(finished) blocks.
Borders are not considered part of the BOM.

BOM’s first month is July 2008 and last month is June 2009. (July 2009
if 13th month option chosen)

A $1 incentive coupon will be attached to all blocks during their designated month.
If blocks are picked up in person during the specified dates each month
this coupon lowers your overall cost of the BOM to $4.00 per month. If you pick up your block after the specified dates you will not receive the $1 incentive coupon. There is no cash penalties associated
with picking blocks up late.

The $1 incentive coupon can be used to purchase anything at FIS.

We will not mail blocks to members.

At end
of BOM in June 2009 members have thru until Aug 2009 to pick up any remaining blocks.
We will not hold old blocks beyond that date.
