Our Christmas fabric goes on display on Wednesday, May 1^st. You should see it! Start your Christmas projects early!

Christmas Block of the Month

We are pleased to announce the newest Block of the Month program. This one starts in May to correspond with our “Christmas In May” event. The purpose of this five month BOM is to end in enough

time for you to finish your beautiful quilt by the holidays!

We are basing the BOM on the beautiful and much-called-for Nancy Halvor-sen’s “12 Days of Christmas” panel by Benartex, shown at the left. The setting will be a Raggedy Ruth Design original. See shop or web after April 30^th for the actual BOM and details. Sign-up is in the shop after April 30^th, in person only.

The Fabric Frenzy Shop-Hop

Thank you for making this the best Four County Fabric Frenzy shop hop ever! This was shown by the fact that over 50% of the quilters bought their passports at Forever In Stitches and 60% wanted to pick up there prizes at Forever In Stitches!

The Quilt Fever Shop-Hop

We appreciate the “quilting troupers” for joining the shop hop in spite of the snowy weather! A little more than half of those with passports were able to complete the shop hop. Every one who completed [over 150 shoppers] won great prizes. Congratulations!

Congratulations Dolores Schroeder for being drawn as our bi-monthly Long Arm 20% off Coupon winner. As part of our newsletter publishing, we draw a name from our Long-Arm appointment calendar. Eligible entries include anyone who scheduled & kept a quilt check-in appointment during the prior two months.

Freedom Fest

The 2008 Freedom Fest will be held on Saturday, June 28^th at the Bluffton University stadium. Games. Food. Entertainment. Duck Races. Pie Baking Contest. And an incredible Firework Spectacular.

A great family outing, regardless of the age!

Bluffton Festival of Wheels

Bluffton’s Festival of Wheels will be June 13^th [the Friday before Father’s Day] after 5:00 p.m. on Main Street. Come see the classic cars, the “drive-in” movie, and don’t forget food!

Bluffton Spring Festival

Saturday, May 17^th is Bluffton Spring Festival, starting in the morning, on Main Street. Enjoy the live entertainment, pony rides [sorry, kids only], food and crafts.

Beginning Quilting Class

Betty Fiser will be conducting a Beginners Quilting Class. There will be three sessions of three hours each on successive Tuesdays [May 13^th, 20^th, and 27^th] from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. The cost is $15, plus supplies. Pre-registration is a must!

Quilt Pink

“Pathway To The Stars” is the title of Forever In Stitches’ entry for Quilt Pink™, 2007. Designed by Raggedy Ruth Designs, the finished quilt size is 110” x 110”.

The pattern is available at our shop. Those who assisted in its piecing and/or donated to it can receive the pattern free.

The quilt will be auctioned on-line starting May 1, 2008 at www.quiltpink.com.
