Have you ever thought you’d like to try your hand at piecing quilt
blocks, but didn’t know where to start?
Forever In Stitches is announcing a new Block Of the Month [BOM] Program using Thimbleberries Fabric.
This BOM is for novice / beginner quilters and is a great way to get a feel for quilting. Sign up yourself or encourage friends, parents, children, siblings, co-workers etc… to participate with you.
Memberships are still available and the finished quilt is on display in our shop.
The Block of the Month program is where you 1) Come monthly to our shop, 2) Pick up a block’s fabric & pattern, and 3) Piece the blocks at home.
BOM Rules:
· This BOM is reserved for novice quilters, (or if a duo/group is participating together, at least one member must be a novice quilter)
·
The program will run for 6
months (March–August
2007) with two identical blocks being made each
month.
·
The
Month’s block can be picked up any day of that month.
·
Blocks
do not need to be completed for the subsequent blocks to be picked up.
· Program costs $4.00 a month per block. If block(s) picked up within the specified month, the 2nd block is free.
· If a duo/group is participating, all members must be present for the initial Block #1 sign-up (unless any are 18 years old or younger).
· Free 3-hour Demonstration of block layout options, and proper sashing, border & binding techniques for members will be scheduled throughout August & September.

We have a customer searching for a piece of the fabric (shown) to complete her quilt.
It’s from the 2004 RJR collection called “Almost Amish” that we sold
in the store when we first opened. Customer only needs a 8” x 14” piece of this
dusty rose speckled print. If you have this in your stash and are willing to
sell some please let me know at 419-358-0656 or RuthG@fisllc.com
If you should find yourself in this same dilemma trying to find an out-of-stock fabric we originally sold, let us know. If we have the space available we’ll try to get the word out though our newsletter.
